Complex Care

We work with clients with differing high-dependency care needs and conditions and we ensure that our nurses, healthcare assistants and support workers are skilled in a number of interventions varying in complexity including…

Brain Injury

Acquired brain injuries (ABI) or traumatic brain injuries (TBI) are life-changing conditions that can be both emotionally and physically challenging for those that sustain them and the ones closest to them. Brain injuries can lead to a permanent disability or effect their understanding, emotions and behaviours resulting in a need for complex care. Having specialist support and care plans in place can help provide stability and enable people living with a brain injury to live as independently as possible in their own home.

Spinal Cord Injury

Injuries to the spinal cord can be life-altering and involve substantial emotional, physical and social adjustments from the injured person, their friends and their family. Depending on the severity of the spinal injury, the loss of movement and sensation will vary from person to person. Paralysis and loss of feeling increases the risk of pressure sores, hypothermia and hyperthermia and strokes.

Our experienced health care assistants provide invaluable support to help you maintain as much independence as possible and are expertly trained in a variety of injuries including quadriplegia, paraplegia and tetraplegia.

Ventilator & Trachaeostomy Care

We support with invasive and non-invasive ventilator care at home for those living with condition-related respiratory difficulties. Our fully-trained support workers, carers and nurses enable you to manage your respiratory care and live an independent lifestyle.  We work with you to mitigate the risk of ventilation complications developing at home.

Ventilator care can be challenging for the friends and families of ventilated or ventilator dependent clients, which makes our professional support and assistance invaluable. Our team work with you to fit care around you and your family as seamlessly as possible.

PEG Care

Percutaneous Endoscopic Gastrostomy (PEG feeding) helps those who experience difficulty swallowing food and liquids receive the nutrition and medication they need via an artificial opening directly into the stomach.

PEG tubes require regular care to prevent blockages and infection. Our trained carers and nurses can assist you with PEG feeding, medication management and prevent complications giving you the time to focus on what really matters.

Learning Disabilities

We support people with learning disabilities live a full and independent life. Our specialist learning disability carers provide social, practical and emotional support to you and your family members.

Our dedicated team work with you and any third parties to devise a person-centred care plan to suit you. We can assist with social development and community integration - helping you get out and about to attend social activities or hobbies and provide help at home with light domestic duties. We also support you with emotional development through companionship.

Developing independence is a life-changing experience and we strive to help all of our learning disability clients build the skill set they need to live as independently as possible.
