Our internal auditing team monitors and reviews our processes to support business assurances and highlight any gaps in performance. The team is responsible for ensuring the branches are compliant in all aspects of the business and conduct audits every three months.
Our internal auditing team includes the Disclosure and Barring Service panel who meet to deliberate any issues that may arise with candidates DBS applications to ensure we hire the right people to deliver the quality care we expect.
Our system tracks and alerts us when supervisions and performance monitoring are due, with the information used as part of the workers’ annual appraisal. Area Managers and Operations Directors are responsible for regular performance appraisals with our Branch Managers in accordance with our Appraisal, Supervision and Development Policy.
By keeping in regular communication with our workers, we can identify any areas of concern or any opportunities for further training and progression meaning that we have a happy and productive workforce who feel listened to.
We have carefully curated a more streamlined and concise recruitment process across the business. We have improved the candidate experience with Nurseplus and understand that whilst some clients use technology to screen and train their staff, we still feel face-to-face interaction holds huge value in an ever-changing and challenging market place.
We get to know our candidates, inviting them into the branch from day one to give us a better feel for who they are, they're strengths and their interests enabling us to better skill-match our workers with our clients.
