This is a role that involves working in mental health, safeguarding, and SEN. As part of this role, you will be tasked with a complex caseload of vulnerable young people and families to provide support and deliver interventions to bring about substantial and consistent behavioural improvement. You will also ultimately be required to improve overall outcomes and decrease dependency on external services.
As a Family Support Worker, you will help and provide practical and emotional support to children and their families. You will be required to manage a workload whilst sticking to a schedule. You may also be required to escort vulnerable children to and from school whilst providing efficient, safe and effective guidance at all times to ensure their health, safety and welfare.

What Nurseplus needs from you as a Family Support Worker:
- You must be over 18 to apply
- Have the right to work in the UK
- Previous UK based experience in a similar role
- NVQ level 3 or above in working with children and families or similar relevant area
- Full driving licence (preferable)
- A good standard of English and the ability to communicate effectively
- An enhanced DBS, which you can apply for upon registration
