The main duties of the Quality and Operations Manager - Learning Disabilities role include:

  • Collaborating with the senior management team to evaluate and implement the organisation's quality assurance program.

  • Providing constructive feedback to services and aiding in the creation of action plans to address areas of improvement at the earliest stage.

  • Taking responsibility, in the absence of a manager or during service-related issues, to ensure compliance with all legal requirements, including completing necessary regulatory notifications.

  • Supporting and coaching the manager and/or team to maintain the highest standards of care and support within the service.

  • Adhering to and ensuring compliance and safeguarding policies and procedures.

  • Adaptable to changing priorities, capable of managing shifting locations and duties on short notice to cover for sickness and other management team absences.

  • Ensuring service delivery prioritizes placing individuals we support at the center, promoting their rights, choices, dignity, and diversity.

What we are looking for in a successful candidate:

  • Ideally holds a qualification at Diploma Level 5 (or equivalent)

  • Possesses relevant experience for the role

  • Required knowledge of current social care regulations and legislation
