Nurseplus Newcastle officially opens its doors!

Nurseplus has been welcomed to Newcastle by the Worshipful Mayor of Gateshead, who officially opened our latest branch last week.

Councillor Pauline Dixon met with the Nurseplus Newcastle staff team and was given a tour of the office, which includes a fully equipped training room for care workers.

The branch, located in the area of Gateshead, will offer specialist recruitment support to local and regional healthcare organisations, also providing a number of employment opportunities to individuals in the area.

Rebecca Clish, branch manager at the Nurseplus’ Newcastle branch, commented: “We are all really looking forward to providing our healthcare services across the region and we have a fantastic team of talented and experienced care workers.

“The Mayor was very enthusiastic and it was really informative to hear her views on the social care sector in the area.”

Since 2005 the company has grown rapidly, providing homecare and nursing agency services across the UK, with 59 branches now serving local communities.
