Nurseplus rise to victory at this year’s HealthInvestor Awards
This year’s HealthInvestor Awards took place last night (13th June) at the prestigious Grosvenor House Hotel on London’s Park Lane. The annual awards are attended by health and social care companies from across the UK and are among the most prized awards celebrating the seven key areas of the healthcare industry, including clinical services, domiciliary care providers, social care and technology.
Up against the likes of the Blackwood Group and Compass Holdings, Nurseplus were finalists in the ‘Recruiter of the Year’ category and are thrilled to have won this amazing award!
Noted for our ‘retention, innovative use of technology and partnership approach’, members of the 50+ strong network of branches took to the stage to accept the award.
Winners of an internal ‘HealthInvestor incentive’ were rewarded with an invitation to attend the awards with Ops Director, Mark Gidalla, Chief Finance Officer, Keith Browner, Finance Director, Mike Platten and Compliance Director, Vicki Fay. The winners were Newcastle upon Tyne branch, Liverpool branch and Wisbech branch.
Newcastle upon Tyne' Branch Manager, Rebecca Clish said, ‘We were honoured to be a part of such a prestigious event and thoroughly enjoyed the night. Nurseplus winning ‘Recruiter of the Year’ made the night for us. Really does go to show that the hard work in branch is recognised, appreciated and rewarded”
The hard work undertaken by each and every one of Nurseplus' 50+ branches makes is possible for the company to win such an amazing award - and rewarding those that attended this year will hopefully inspire branches to keep to up their tremendous efforts in an attempt to attend future events.
Liverpool Branch Manager, Chris Smith said, ‘Last night was brilliant and it was great to be part of the Nurseplus team in attendance. I look forward to next year’s incentive to see if I can book my place then too.’
Hosted by comedian Rory Bremner, the awards were attended by over 1,200 people from the healthcare industry.
Operations Director, Mark Gidalla said, ‘We could not be happier to win this amazing award. Recruitment is at the heart of our business and retaining staff is an area we really credit ourselves for – we are absolutely delighted to have been recognised for commitment in this area and will continue to ensure we develop a happy team of amazing care staff who make our business as successful as it is’.
Well done everyone – thoroughly deserved!
